Stock Wheels and Bridgestone Blizzak LM22's - Awesome Grip! I highly recommend these tires. Not as stiff a sidewall as the stock advans so they ride kind of cushy though.

The 240 Snow Sport is a great tire for urban or plowed areas where there's not a lot of accumulation. They handle well on clear days as well. Blizzaks are the best tires for the worst conditions. You will trade handling and longevity for better snow traction. With AWD your already a step ahead of the game. I always think its better to have too much tire and not enough just incase.

I have a friend who runs the Blizzaks on his Suby 2.5RS as well as his brother in his WRX, they swear by them for AWD winter tires. They got him through some of the real nasty stuff we get out here in Colorado, and didnt ruin all the fun on dry days.

Last winter, someone I spoke to at Tire Rack recommended the Dunlop Winter Sports and I really liked them. My bro got the Blizzaks for his Evo and seemed to like the Dunlops on mine better. Better grip I think. I think the price is pretty comparable though. I'd recommend the Dunlops myself - no question.

I have dunlop winter sport M2's. Had them last year on my audi S4 and the grip was great and the dry traction was good, great for snow tires. Keep in mind these aren't high performace advans or any other summer tire. I plan on mounting these tires on my stock wheels they are 225/45/17's close enough...

I am using Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S. It's a very good tire for year-round performance. It doesn't perform nearly as good as the stock Advans on dry pavement, but I drove through Ohio winter with no problems at all.

I've got 17x7.5 ASA KA3's shod with Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22's in stock tire size. I felt that the tires weren't as good as dedicated snows should be in snow, and reported this to the Tire Rack. If I remember correctly, they were blaming this on the width of the tires, which would result in less bite in snow. They were offering a narrower tire spec on their snow package for the Evo at the end of last season. I'd definitely go narrower next time.
