Alignment after Drop and rear sway bar feels worse...

Just lowered my car w/ Eibachs and Progress rear sway bar. I swear my RS felt a lot more neutral and felt planted but after an alignment it feels a little nervous and not as settled. What gives, can you take a look below and provide feedback?

I told the tech to use factory specs but w/ near zero toes:

Before,
Rear L/R camber -1.8/-1.6 Toe 0.32/0.12
Front L/R camber -1.3/-1.3 Toe -0.08/0.25

After,
Rear L/R camber -1.4/-0.9 Toe 0.10/0.08
Front L/R camber -1.3/-1.3 Toe 0.01/0.01

Anyone suggest a better setup for street performance?

thanks

This will happen with the Evo it's just that good stock. When I lowered my Evo I was mad but then got used to it.

saw your pm but my RS is red...

Going back to my alignment, my point was that after the spring exchange it felt much better before the alignment.

I was'nt making comparison to before and after spring exchange but rather before and after alignment. Can someone else shed light?

Just get a decent alignment. (or get the shop to fix the first one)

Look at your camber in front (left to right) it's all messed up.

As for your toe, jeez.... your toe'ed out a little in the front. That will make the car wander over grooves in the pavement.

As for the back, it looks ok.

Did you actually pay someone to do that? If you did get your money back right now, and take it to another shop who knows how to do alignments

according to tech, that was the best he could do on his job on first evo

I'll try different shop, but can you guys post ideal alignment spec. There seem to be variations on specs and how tight do these spec have to be met?

The shop manager wanted additional $80 for specific alignment over factory specs

When I lowered my car with the S-techs they set my alignment up perfectly.

Front L/R camber -1.5/-1.5
Front toe L/R 0/0

Rear camber L/R -.5/-.5
Rear toe L/R 0/0

This set-up seems to work great. I still have the stock advans and it seems to wander just a little over this crappy WI roads we have. The car is still very neutral, and seems to handle better because I lowered the center of gravity of the car just right.

Setting the toe to as near to 0 as possible will give it a more nervous/quick to react setup. That's what you asked for that's what you want right?

Yeah I agree. If you toed the car in a lil bit the car will definately become more stable, but with a slight lag in your response ( not much though).

This is why I'm staying with the stock suspension for a while. The car handles amazing stock, and I can drive it over any road I want... Here in NH, that's a big deal to me...

I dropped my car on the s-tech a month ago had the alignment done and set at -1.5 and the advans lasted about a week. Had it redone set at -1 and no toe and still having problems wearing out the inside edge. Anyone got any ideas for alignment specs for GOOD tire wear?

no, after his alignment every wheel is toe'ed out just a little. The closer you get the car to zero toe in the front and the rear, the better the car will feel. That is what the factory spec calls for.
