for a rough estimation...
how often would this clutch need a rebuild for a "spirited" driver?

Well over 30,000 hard miles before it needs a rebuild. The question to answer this is coming from the community like Supra, 3000GT VR-4, and the 300ZX.

I would also add to the answer of why change the superior pull design to a inferior push design. You are adding more misc complex parts (conversion push style) to convert an already (from the factory) supiour clutch layout.
So your clutch set up retains the factory pull design correct? If so, there is no need to add on a push style conversion kit. I currently have the Exedy Twin disk, very decent clutch, but it can be a pain to slip it right and its pretty rough when it engages.

The same way that a stock clutch is installed, it's just that you are installing 2 more additions in the mix and they are the 2nd disc and a floater. Nothing extra hard at all.

Is it because the pull style TOB came off? If this is the case RPS made this fix on all EVO Twin clutches that we sell. We are the only company to establish this fix in a pull design. This is done by modifying the TOB and producing a different clip.
