Derek888, I know you and I have been searching for a turbo kit. We've been bangin' thru the same threads. A common question you have is "what are the supporting mods?" From talking offline with people from AMS, RnR, Buschur Racing, my local tuner MZM as well as the people at Garrett, the common theme is bigger injectors and rail, cams, fuel pump, 3" exhaust, boost contoller and some type of ecu upgrade. Lastly a you'll need a clutch that can hold the increase in torque. Things like water injection, larger fmic, etc. while certainly enhance the performance of a tubo kit they are not a necessity.
Each and everyone of those people said the same thing. I for one am satisfied with their responses. What have you heard?

Shoot out mode is what tuners use to get flywheel horsepower on a DD.

It if helps any, jerestan had teh GT35r kit in his car, and he put down 412whp on a DD Dyno (the ones that read the lowest).
His car was insane, but he had to sell it for other business reasons. He proclaimed after several other turbos, the GT35r was the best and only choice for a good power band and hella numbers! If I do a turbo, that's what I'd get.
Good Luck all.

We have NEVER used SHOOTMODE. Not ever and never will. Here are some of the stats we recently have acheived using our kits. All cars had the proper supporting mods. I will try and get some of these dyno sheets up on here. My personal car was the one that made 630whp and 610ft lbs on the DD dyno.
50 trim, stand manifold, S-AFC
350whp on 91 octane, 21psi
412whp on race gas, 24psi
GT35R w/equal length,2.4, S-AFC,etc
420whp on 91 octane, 21psi
501WHP on C-16, 26psi(having ignition issues)
GT35R w/equal manifold,2.0, AEM EMS,
91octane, 400+whp, 21-22psi
C-16, 504WHP, 28psi
GT35R w/equal, Autronic, stock 2.0
91 octane, 20psi, 392whp
C-16, 24PSI, 494WHP
GT35R w/equal, 2.4, AEM EMS,
C-16, 30psi, 630WHP, 610ft lbs

I wouldn't fit a GT35R to the stock engine (internals) i would go for the 3071R or the GT30R at a push but you will probably find the 35 too lagy for a 2ltr..... IMO
