I think it's a foregone conclusion that this is a dead deal at this point....oh well
I was looking at going along the HKS/GSC 264 in/ex path, but am also now looking at getting the 260 Procams.
Searching this forum and lancerregister.com for results with the Tomei cams has resulted in very limited information... I was unable to find any dyno graphs, or any useful comparison between the Tomei cams and other brands.
The guys on lancerregister like the Piper cams, one of which also have 11.5mm lift, but they mention that the increased lift contributes to lag.
I'm interested to hear from someone who has tried the Tomei cams and has some information to share. I'm sure that would help to get this g/b moving along.

increased lift has nothing to do with lag - just the opposite in fact
the increased lift contributes to a broader power band, not a narrower one
As I ahve said, you are not going to find a whole host of info about them, as its not a widely used cam do the fact that they are special order items. We have a wide range of customers with them, but they are not "board people", and for the most part, their setups are so much more exotic than what most people have, any dyno sheet would not yield any info. Several switched from Piper's to these, as they simply could not get the Piper cams to behave well with their setups (stroked and standard displacement GT35, GT40 cars with a host of other internal mods.
I think the GB is a dead issue at this point - closing the thread so as not to get it cluttered. We tried for months to get it going, the interest is not there, and that's fine.
