I think the Magnaflow is one of the quieter mufflers and sounds the best.

What muffler is used on the Stealth version? Do any of the other parts come Black as well or is it just the muffler? Sound clips on stealth if possible. Also, any possible way to sub the CF Ti HKS Muffler for just the standard HKS Hiper muffler and have that in the stealth version?

Thanks for the pics, but could you post some with the car clean?

I'm really torn between the Stealth and C/Ti, and I'd really like to see how the different colors on the C/Ti contrast with a black EVO...

Yeah dude. I actually live and work in King of Prussia... close enough to Philly.

I'm hoping to finish up the install today. I'm doing the whole thing from the exhaust manifold to the muffler, so it's taking a lot longer than I though. The tough part is taking apart the manifold/turbo/O2 housing. Right now it's all sitting on my kitchen floor!

Pictures and a writeup coming soon.

Thumbs up Pictures and review

OK, I finally got my RnR exhaust on! A couple people here were asking for pictures/opinions, so I'll add my 2 cents. Sorry the pictures are dark but I got a late start today so it was night by the time I finished up.

My complete install was a full RnR turboback exhaust with the Magnaflow muffler. I also bought the RnR O2 housing and installed a Megan Racing turbo manifold and a Forge Unos MBC while I was at it.

A couple of notes on the RnR O2 housing and installation:
- this is a really nice piece, but the biggest problem I have with it is that it does not have the bottom mount that the stock housing has (by the flange to the downpipe). Because of this, the whole weight of the housing and turbo is hanging on the manifold. Add to that the flex section in the downpipe, and there's a lot of weight on the manifold, and I've heard that this can cause the manifold to crack. If you get the O2 housing and have an aftermarked manifold, check it every now and then for cracks. Then again, that's probably a good idea anyway.

- The easiest way to install the O2 housing and manifold is to remove the stock manifold, take out the entire turbo with the old housing still attached, bolt the new manifold and new housing to the turbo, and drop everything back in as one piece.

- The fitment of the exhaust is pretty good on my MR, it's a bit tight in places. The exhaust tip was perfectly centered in the bumper. The muffler is tucked away nicely behind the bumper, which is what I wanted. I hate it when you see an exhaust hanging way down below the bumper at an angle. Hopefully the pictures below will show it well. The tight places are where the pipe passes by the rear differential, and one of the front steering braces touches up against the downpipe. Everything fits well, it's just tight. Actually, I was really surprised at just how exact everything fit under the car.

The sound of the Magnaflow exhaust is awesome. It lets out a really low rumble at idle that sounds like a V8, and just screams when you open it up. I wasn't sure what to expect for sound. Everyone says it's one of the quiter exhausts out there. I would say it is loud; not LOUD. Good loud.

All in all, this seems like a very well-constructed exhaust. The look is A+, the sound is A+ and the quality is A+. Especially at this price, I would definitely recommend that anyone shopping for a good exhaust jump on this!

MisterMR, good writeup. People are always looking to see what other peoples thoughts are on the exhaust other than us.
