ive been running the race intercooler with stainless pipes for about a year now- one of the best things about these pipes, they are stainless steel... when you tighten t bolts on aluminum, watch out...on these, i did not have to worry as much. this also leads me to believe they will seal better with BIG BOOST!

I would love to see how these intercoolers compare to the Nesei and Busher because the price seems excellent.Any hp gains with stock turbos?I know Harman Motive picked up 18 hp with the APS intercooler and the Helix piping.Would these intercoolers cause more lag with the stock turbo?

I will tell my experience: I bolted the intercooler and piping on with stock turbo, no boost controller- lost 2 to 3 lbs of boost at the manifold. The car seemed to pull ok, just did not have the top end... put a boost controller in, raised to @22psi (on gauge in car) and was back to normal... I do not get the initial boost "spike" that the stock cars feel like- it is more gradual, and predictable. I cant say there is any more lag. you would definately want to increase boost with any intercooler. What I can say is the air volume has to be cooler, the car is running more rich now for sure. These designs are very similar to the nisei (or whatever) You will just have someone to go to if something were to happen to the RNR...

I am getting back to all PM's today.

The cores have proven to work very very well on the EVO's. I will also have some more test info for you guys that are into numbers shortly. The price is honestly to hard to beat. The race core is the same one on my daily driven 731whp street car.

We are making very little money off of these and hoping to make a great name for our RnR Intercoolers like we have done with our turbo back exhaust and turbo kits.

FYI, if anyone has participated in anyone of our previous group buy's you will receive a better price because of your repeat customer status.
