i saw that one. but my friend said that his (mcculloch 5300k kit) has a blueish tint to the lights. on those pictures i dont see any blue in the light except from the first picture.

i'm looking for a kit that gives off a white-blueish light (more on the white side)

I will be ordering your kit for my evo IX. I'm just not sure if I should go with the 6000K or 6500K? Is there a huge difference? I had the 6000's on my spec V and loved the color. I just was thinking maybe something more exotic looking. What color does Lambo use!!?? Any opinions welcome.

Sounds like 6000k would work

Kaixen 6000K's are white with a slight blue tint, the 6500K's are white with a slight purple tint. The 5000K's are pure white.

Hey autodoodad. Got my kit this week. Thank you looks great. I'm doing the install tomorrow. Quick question. Where is the best place people are mounting the ballasts without them getting wet? I fried out two ballasts on my old hid kit from washing the car. Don't want it to happen again. I might even use some silicone sealant arround the seams for insurance.

Also, what are people using to mount them? I didn't see brackets in the kit or screw holes in the ballast?

Thanks

You want to mount the ballasts with the mounting pads included in the kit. They have double sided tape on them. Also you can secure them further with the wire ties that are provided. Make sure the lights light up before you permanently attach the ballasts to anything. As far as where to mount them every car is different, just try to keep them from heavy water stream . Hope that helped.
