This project was a *****, but it's practically ready for production.
I'm getting word out to them first thing tomorrow to let them know I approve. Hopefully we can get the ball rolling and have the first 100 of these babies produced, grained, color-dyed, and shipped to me within the next 2-3 weeks.
Thanks for being so supportive on this guys. Now it's just a game of waiting for the pieces to come in from production. I'm going to square away the last few details (i.e. metallic color option price estimates, hardware & some optional parts stocking, instruction manual feat. 2-DIN install tutorial, and boxes/packaging supplies) over the next two weeks.
I really hope this kit flies off the shelves. In all honesty, with all the work put into it and everyone's interest/satisfaction I don't see why it won't. This may very well be the BEST interior enhancement to ever be released for the USDM CT9A EVO. Please spread the word about this kit, I need all the support I can get if I am to follow up with a second product soon!!

I do have to admit the visor looks a bit... large. I liked the flush one better - I know most 2 DIN designs come with the ability to tilt the display to avoid glare in any case. But maybe someone with more experience would be able to tell us?

Any thoughts?

For those of you looking to use a pop-out system, I would recommend using the Mitsubishi 2-DIN Panel which I can obtain on special-order as per the options listed on the first page.

I really wish you could see this version, Alexander.
The pictures simply don't do it justice. I think the fact that the production prototypes are plain white plastic really doesn't help. Trust me when I say it looks absolutely surreal in person. I can only imagine how beautiful it will be when it's in the OEM black grain.

I just wanted to express my thanks to Rich for working so hard on his 2-Din Dash Kit. I have been working w/ Rich for the last few months on my Evo. He pays great attention to detail and has a true love of our cars. I can say w/o any hesitation that his kit will be an amazing product. He would not release something that doesnt have OEM fit and better then OEM quality. Anyone who is ordering this product will be blown away by its fitment and design. I cant wait to get mine ... Iam fully stoked that its just around the corner.
