hey guys, sorry for the absence. i had a conference in stamford CT until today. kits still haven't come in but everything else is ready (instruction manual, packaging supplies, etc) with a 2-DIN install tutorial on a local customers car once we get the kits in.
i'm on the edge of my seat in anxiety waiting for this. cross your fingers guys, it should be any day now!

Please excuse the quick matte black finish, it was a quick spray with a touch of texture to get the idea across. The production finish is truly an OEM look.
Please notice the significantly reduced glare on the LCD. Can we say "intelligent engineering" lol.

Hey Rich,
Any chance we can get the "oem style" panel still?
I understand the whole thing about the reduced glare, but i'm really not feeling the new panel. It looks (imo) like a generic panel that audioshops use to custom fit a headunit.
Maybe it looks better in person, im not sure. But just curious, would it still somehow be an option to get the oem style panel? Or would you happen to have any laying around? hehe
and thanks again for ur efforts!

well if that's what you guys want, you can order an OEM mitsubishi panel at the additional cost.
i've already invested a very sizeable amount of money to engineer, improve on, and produce the prestige bezel you see above. i'm afraid i can't invest $10-20k to re-engineer, re-tool, and reproduce a 2-DIN bezel that's already out on the market. i'm sorry.
for what it's worth, it looks much better than the OEM piece.

I realize another week has passed and it's driving everyone mad. We were supposed to receive the first 25 last week, but the production company has told me this morning that they need a little more time and that they should be done any day now.
My EVO is still without a dash and i'm still short thousands of dollars before I break even, so I think if anyone is on the edge of their seat waiting with sudden anxiety it's most definitely me. Sit tight guys, I assure you that you will be rolling with a serious interior upgrade shortly.
