Well, I just met up with Rich from Orbital.
First of all, I would like to say that Rich is one of the most pleasant people you will ever meet. He's not just some old fart who knows nothing about the Evo just trying to make a buck off the Evo community. Rich is an Evo owner 100% and he truly cares about the community and he's put in a lot of time, money and effort to bring us this kit at a personal loss to himself and his loved ones. For that reason and for his advancement of the availability of truly high quality product, I salute and thank Rich for what he's done.
I picked up my kit from Rich in person and my first thought was, "Holy crap that's a big box~!" Upon further inspection, I realized that Rich had personally packed each box with more than enough peanut packing to keep everything well protected from clumsy UPS/FedEx employees.
When I opened up the box and got through all the peanut packing, I found the lower cubby kit wrapped in swaths of bubble wrap to protect the pieces even more~! Rich really packs these things ultra-careful so that you receive the pieces in pristine condition.
Well, here are the shots of the lower A/C relocation kit:
I highly recommend this kit as the ONLY kit in the industry that allows a swap such as this to be so plug-and-play. The instructions that Rich packages with each kit are so detailed that a 3rd grader with simple hand tools could do this install. And yes, I'm not too far from that.
Those who know me know that I will only put the best in or on my car. I am a stickler for detail and I don't mind paying for quality worksmanship. I've watched Rich at each and every step of the progression of his kit and I must say, for a person his age to come up with a kit that is this high quality in fit, finish and function, I am truly impressed.
For anyone still skeptical about this kit, I assure you that it is truly a 100% replacement piece and is worth every penny, if not more.
Thank you, Rich.
