OK here is a quick pic, just getting stuff correctly spaced etc, need to make/find a spacer for behind the guages.

I honestly think it looks better with the guages on the bottom.

From an aesthetic's point of view your deck takes up more room than your guage pod so putting the guages on top clutters the center dash because of the relocation of your buttons.

Just my thots on it tho. Nice job man. I'll try to get my pix up soon. It's not exactly done considering some parts on my kit broke. hehe ^.^;; and i had to drill more holes because i'm retarded with templates.

sorry not metallic but here's mine installed.

i'm a retard w/ drilling so that explains the deck's angle.

Looks great!

We've gotta get that stock HU straightened out though!

Also, YGPM!

Only 9 of the full metallics were shipped.

I haven't had enough supply to ship the combination (metallic/grain) kits yet. I'm expecting more metallic units any day now, so we'll get those orders filled ASAP.

Sorry for the delay Derek, I wish there was something I could do about the paint/finishing process.

Hey...it's definately not a problem. I was simply wondering, and with me being a patient guy, I figured others were probably chomping at the bit waiting to pull the "Where's my F'n order" trigger on their gun so now we all know and we won't need to hear from them!!!

Take your time Rich...I'm in no major hurry.

Rich,

Thanks for the update on the first page. BTW, I was taking a look at the pics that CRVdrftR05 posted up of his stock HU installed on the upper bezel. I was under the impression that the stock unit would have a much larger gap around the unit and the bezel than the pictures showed. Does the stock HU fit almost snug right into the opening of the upper bezel? If that's the case, I'll be extremely happy, and postpone the need to upgrade my stereo for now.
