It's supposed to fit snugly into the hole but i'm a retard when it comes to drilling mounting holes so it's sitting a lil high. =\ Sorry
Rich: So... How we looking on that real CF insert for the dash?
and if you could. Any updates on your diagnostics computer?

I haven't had enough supply to ship the combination (metallic/grain) kits yet. I'm expecting more metallic units any day now, so we'll get those orders filled ASAP.
Sorry for the delay Derek, I wish there was something I could do about the paint/finishing process.

K everything's been fixed (my S2000 friend did most of the retooling) and now I can proudly show all what a stock HU looks like with lower din RS plate.

Well guys i havent recieved my kit yet but that doesnt mean i cant get ready for it. Since im not going to have my z1 double din for a few months i figured i would put something together so that i can still use my hvac conversion, but not the head unit surround. that way i wont have a hole in my dash. so what better than 6 dollar bondo and a little work...tell me what you guys think.

you can use that until your Z1 comes in and it would look 100% OEM

the part's ~$7. Call your dealers before making the venture as to not waste gas in these days of high gas prices.
Rich I can't stop looking at my center piece. hahaha It's such a distraction while i'm driving! Thanks for putting this up for us to have. =D
BTW I feel like your promotional *****.

Can't wait till the mixed kits ship out!
BTW, CRVdrftR05, thank you for posting up your pictures of your setup. This is going to be similar to what I'll be doing on my car, but instead of the RS faceplate, I'll have my gauges placed in. Still trying to decide whether to put the guages or stereo on top.

Rich...
Thanks for everything man. This kit is amazing. Shoot me a PM when you're ready with everything on you're end so I can get started.

O.O!!! Influence Your set up is amazing!! And very pro shots. How come your dash is so dark?
Neo: no problem man. Word of caution....make sure the drilling templates are lined up perfectly otherwise you'll be drilling more holes. =\ And trust me there isn't much surface area after the first set of holes. lol
Just my 2 cents.
