Let me tell you, there is a difference in performance between the OEM HVAC system and the Eclipse HVAC system we used in V1.0 of our kit. The OEM system just works beautifully in comparison.

I'll get back to you via PM on thse AVIC-Z1.
You could probebly get the lights at radio shack. I have a set from "Light Modz" still that I installed in my existing unit.

How much for the Avic-Z1? That's the one with blue tooth, right?
I can't wait to see my kit.

I will get back to everyone on pricing for the AVIC-Z1 as soon as possible.

My distributor isn't carrying them yet, so i'm trying to source a vendor that offers them at a reasonable cost.

I just noticed.. but there's a mention of future interior kits (ala CF?).

Rich, if you do a CF kit that has the same love and care you put into this kit, it will sell like hotcakes. I think everyone wants a good CF kit but the only available options at the moment are either the fake me out IX dash, or some cheap overlay stickers.

I know right now you're focusing on trying to get this 2 DIN kit out the door, but just letting you know...

I will deffinitely order this kit once I see some picture in some customer cars, and I hear their impressions.

Bump!

These kits are scheduled to ship in May as a result of the following two engineering changes to the final prototypes you see in the more recent pictures:

- Subtle visor/shroud over 2-DIN bezel to reduce glare
- HVAC positioning will be straight-on, versus angled upward, to ease the installation and look even more OEM

Please send in your payment to reserve your kit at the GB price featuring the additional 5% discount for missing the shipping target of May 1st.

If we don't have your payment and you're still on the list, you will have a kit reserved for you when we get them in-stock, but you will be paying the full price of $295. The GB price is reserved for those helping us get this product out onto the market. Thank you.

Please see the new pics on page one!

-Rich

For those of you who stopped by the car to see the kit in person @ SEMA-IAS, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you and I hope you can provide the other evoM members some feedback about the prototype and anything else you care to share.

I can't wait until this product hits the market, I think it's going to blow up big-time!

Do you have any better pictures? Those are kinda dark. Looking forward to getting my kit, especially since I got my headunit in yesterday

When are you going to be refunding the 5% to those who had previously paid in full?

Oh and the thread got moved so it may take people a bit to find their way over here, I had to update my bookmark.

EDIT: Also you need to update the link in your signature!
