Buddy Club P1 Racing QF WHEELS

In order to get these wheels for japan I need 40 wheels sold. Do the math= 10 people to buy... Let me know what sizes & colors you want... $2100 shipped for 17x9 and $2300.00 shipped for 18x9.

The Buddy Club P-1 Racing QF wheel utilizes a unique forging technology that does not compromise strength and rigidity for a light-weight design. Each size is individually engineered and produced. A 15" wheel is not a scaled down 18" wheel and vice-versa. Aircraft grade 6061 aluminum is used and is forged using an 8,000 ton hydraulic forging machine. Shot-peened surface for even greater strength. Powder coated finish.

Comes in a 17x9.0 wheel size, 5x114.3 bolt pattern, and 5, 15, 28, 35, or 63mm offset. 18x9's only come in +35mm ... depending on your suspension setup, you may need a small (5-6mm) spacer to run that wheel/tire combo.

17x9 needs spacers also. I think remember that 17x8 +28 will fit without them, gotta doublecheck.

These wheels are as light as it gets. Always at the top of the list on wheelweight lists.

From what I read, you will need a 3mm spacer in the front to clear the caliper. That is for the 17x9 +35. I am not sure about other sizes.

Can we start a list of people that are in for this group buy? What is the ETA once you get 10 orders confirmed?

I am in for 17x9 +35 in gunmetal.

My understanding with the 17x9 is that you need a 3mm spacer to clear the calipers in the front. Chrisw has them and he PM'd me about it a while back. It has nothing to do with tire size or fender clearance.

HOWEVER, with any 9" or wider wheel on an Evo, you have to make sure you don't hit the springs on the front suspension setup, especially with coilovers. I needed a 5mm spacer on my car with a 17x9 +35mm 5zigen FN01R-C and a 255/40/17 Proxes RA-1 to stop them from rubbing on my Ohlins setup.

So it is likely that a 5-6mm spacer in front will make the 17x9 or 18x9 work for just about everyone. No rear spacer should be necessary. If you run a retarded tire like a 275/40/17 or 285/30/18, because you think bigger is better, you will probably need a thicker spacer. A 255/40/17 or a 255/35/18 should be fin with a 5-6mm spacer.
