With regard to tires, I think the Kumho MX's will make a great replacement for the 046's. Others in this year's One Lap ran them. Tirerack speaks highly of them and sells them for about $121.

What evidence is there to support your comments?
How is the MX a copy of the A-046?
Has there been a formal comparison test of the A-046's and the MX's? If so, by what organization?
Tirerack catagorizes the MX higher than the A-046. Granted, I do not think that means the MX is better.
