Is this just a little higher holding force than the stock clutch?

I had a 2100 in my eclipse but I had no where near the power the evo has.

How long are these clutches expected to last.... 25% 30% longer than stock?

Do a search under ACT in the EVO forums, Dirk from ACT has been very helpfull in explaining the dynamics of a clutch and the defects in the stock clutch and what he did to improve upon it. From the posts I've read 3100 is the highest holding force with sustained and 2900, which is about 700 greater than the stock setup (I believe).

 

stevEVO8, I'm told they'll hold 400+ tq.

 

This sounds too good to be true. If this clutch can do the job at a fraction of the price compare to other brand names, then why dont everybody on here jump on this? Damn, 400 is much better than 1k right? Somebody tell me this is a not a dream and this clutch will be the crusade for the evo.

Its a great price for a single plate clutch; but the reason it's so much cheaper than an Exedy, for example, is that it does not come with a flywheel.
