IMHO these are better than the APR splitter, since they don't change the underbody aerodynamics (read: replace the mitsu underbody plastic panels).
Question: How much does your splitter weigh? Also, I noticed that on the two pictured Evos, the braces are mounted in slightly different locations ... does it matter? I ask, because I like the slightly more angled look of the blue/white Evo better.
Lastly, you refer to race-proven ... please provide more detail. I.e. comments from the instructor, track experience, etc.

As you know this is a new product but our guy was pretty impressed the first time out. We do not yet have raw numbers but his comments were improved stability and handling. I'll talk to him more and get back with you shortly.

Aluminum vs Carbon Fiber

Unlike CF, aluminum can be scuffed up and then easily resanded back to the original finish. This is a similar argument to the fiberglass vs urethane front bumper.
The AutoVation spiltter is a multi-piece design for quick removal at the track (and simple storage). However, if you damage the spiltter, our design has an added benefit of being able to order low cost replacement parts.
IMO, if you race or drive it enough, you will hit something. When you do our splitter will not cost you much to get it looking new again!
