AMS's USCC winning EVO X on a Prototype 30R kit
#16
The test was done at Cal Speedway/Fontana/Autoclub Speedway; it's notorious for being slow. Not to mention, it was in the middle of August with temps most likely hovering above 100F. I don't have the article in front of me, but I think the only car that trapped faster in the USCC competition was the Evo VIII. I want to say the modded GTR only trapped 116, I could be wrong though... someone look it up!

Well, the 1/4 mile times and trap speeds don't accurately represent how fast the X really is in real world scenarios because the gearing is terrible for the strip; you have to shift into 5th gear right before the 1/4 mile mark and that kills the times. In the road racing or on the street this is inconsequential, though.

This test was done at the end of the shutdown area running uphill to the finish line, which would affect mph. It was also done with some sort of radar gun, so its accuracy is always an issue.
