We mounted the BOV there since it was the most direct and it looked the best. It works very well there. As for the CAI. This was the first one we made. We added the CAI and our custom o2 eliminator downpipe so far it has worked out pretty good but we are still testing it.

The diameter of the pipe is 3" from the filter to the turbo.

Are you guys going to be testing any other configurations like mentioned here or is this pretty much the design that you have decided to go with. I love the intake, just wish the bov placement was different....keep up the good work, the more products that are released and the more testing that is done the sooner we will find out what works best on the 4b11t

Thanks for the compliment. We did all our testing on bov placement, MAF sensor placement, etc. back in Feb. when we got our X. We will be offering the CAI with out pipe kit for an additional $150.

I was hoping to put them in on Friday but we didn't have a chance. They should be in by the end of this week. We had the car back on dyno to get the fuel dialed in with the 850cc injectors. We did not want to change the injectors and the cams at the same time. We want to drop the cams in and see how much they pick up without any tuning. We will then tune the car with the cams and post the results for both.

Good deal. Just like everyone else I'm really looking forward to this. Are you planning on installing the 264s or the 270s?

Your white X sounds really good. Just wish I could have picked up the custom 3" turbo back...
