Turbotrix Evo X 376whp/336ft-lbs
We put our Evo X back on the dyno today and we were amazed by the results. The last time Mark tuned the car it made 338whp/357ft-lbs @25psi. We just built a custom 3" o2 housing and cold air intake to the car. The car made 376whp/336ft-lbs @23psi. We ran out of fuel so we couldn't turn the boost up anymore. With the new setup the car hits 23psi and falls to 21psi by redline. Tomorrow we will be trying out a new set of injectors and then installing some Kelford stage 1 cams. Here are some pics of the cold air intake and the dyno sheet. The cold air intake is all one piece and has NO silicone bends.

How is the maf mounted sideways not screwing up readings? The agp cai is mounted the same way and a lot of people are getting pissed because it's causing tuning problems. Plus, why would you set the bov on the top ic pipe and not near the throttle body coming off the lower ic pipe?

The softest X I have seen to date was using the AGP intake, Leaned him out to 12:1 with no tuning at all. After tuning I was still weak sauce. The X uses a map airflow calc along with maf airflow calc, if the two get very far apart it will start flopping between map load and maf load and makes it very difficult to tune. The X in question is a good 20-30whp down on other cars with the same mods.
I think the issue with the agp intake is the diameter of the maf pipe is too large.
T.T. what the is the pipe diameter where the maf mounts in comparison to the stock maf housing?
Also, the maf is in the same orientation as the stock setup, just in a different location and different pipe.

It seems like it would be beneficial to put the bov off the licp into the intake, that way at least you are dumping slightly cooled air back into the intake rather than hot air. This setup might cause a problem similar to what people were seeing when the ac fan kicked on and threw hot air into the intake causing stumbling problems, hence all the air filter shields like buschurs. I think that setup would be bad *** if the bov was just above the maf, or if you could slide the maf down a bit further and put the bov where the maf is now
