TTP Stock Evo X GSR +76whp misfires cured!

We had the pleasure of working on evom's own flyguycfi this morning. Kevin much like many of our customers read a thread about another happy customer with excellent gains on the 4b11T Evo X from our tuning services.

Kevin's car came in with 984 miles on the odometer. Perfect timing to get the new car tuned.

His car baselined at about 248-250 with severe misfiring on the top end. So severe that the car was jumping around on the dyno and we cut the run short at 7000rpms as we fought to get the car to even run that high.

A few reflashes later, a customization of the stock BCS boost tables, air fuel ratio and ignition timing tables, coupled with TTP custom MIVEC mapping for the intake and exhaust cams and Kevin's car's output jumped to 326whp up from 250whp.

Here is the graph.

Thanks again for the great tune, it's like a whole new car! Not only does it have more power, but it's sooo much smoother!

Thanks also for posting the chart on here as my camera sucks and I would never be able to get detail like that.

I can't wait til the end of the summer for the bolt-on mayhem to begin.

Did you use Z-Chip or ECUflash?

We refuse to send a dime to David Powers from the UK. They already stole over $1600 from us. So no, we will NEVER again use Ecutek.

We have been using Ecuflash since way back last year during beta testing.

Both the ZChip and Ecuflash products have their places in the marketplace. ZChip is an excellent option for those in remote markets not served by AWD dynamometers in the area, and lacking competent tuners. The ZChip's plug-n-play ability to make huge gains in power and torque just by hooking it up and raising the boost is an superb option for those not looking for or not able to have a custom one on one calibration of their ECU completed by an expert tuner in person.

Which is why I got the flash because I have access to an AWD dyno and a certain tuner.

Nice improvment!!

Now I know what to expect

I was planning to have TTP tune my stock Evo X about a month ago. Unfortunately I had to cancel (needed major warranty work done on my brand new car ). Assuming things hold together this time, I am hoping to have TTP tune my Evo X when it is broken in (again).
