Cobb Off the Shelf AMS Stage II Map Dyno'd, AF's above 12

Today I had my car dyno'd at Pure Tuning in Toledo Ohio to get a baseline before the intercooler, hard pipes and custom tune get done. I was shocked that the A/F's were a little above 12 (yikes!). I'll post the HP/Torque numbers as soon as I scan in the dyno sheet. The dyno is a mustang dyno and we logged both A/F and boost. Boost hit 25 and tapered to 18 as expected. All I have installed on the car at this point is:

Cp-E 3" highflow cat
MXP 3" catback
AMS short ram intake
Off the shelf cobb stage II AMS intake map
93 octane

I will post the chart as soon I as scan it. Isn't the A/F above 12 pretty high for an off the shelf map? I was surpised because when I dyno'd the Cobb Stage 1 map I hit 251 whp with low 10 A/F's.

Get them chart posted soon. I think there is a rule in regards to posting dyno numbers without dyno chart.

Thanks, I'll edit the original post and take down the HP numbers until I get the chart posted. I'm mainly concerned about the high A/F's for an off the shelf map. Does this make sense?

With the amount of smoke my buddy is pouring out of his exhaust I wouln't think 12:1's were possible.

What color is the smoke.... there is lean smoke, as well as rich smoke..... One is a little more dangerous than the other

still blowes me away that people after spending money on mods like exhaust, intake, AP and other goodies cant spend additional $250 on A/F gauge its a turbocharged car after reflushing ecu wideband its a MUST IMO!!!! my 0.5c of shelfs map ain't perfect

I have cobb stage 2 reflush and I see 10.6 WOT at higher RPM's

Did you use the Cobb map for the AMS intake? If not, that could be the main reason why you are running so lean. From my exp with the AMS intake, it usually runs anywhere from 0.3-.05 leaner than a stock air box.
