Oh there's plenty of timing in there. We didn't really feel comfortable taking it much more. We did advance to a point where 3 counts of knock were logged, but it got dialed back from there.

You do realize this was ambient air temperature, not degrees of timing, right?

The only downside I've read about going with E85 (besides a shortage of stations carrying it), is that mpg goes down but that's offset some by lower fuel prices.

Lower mpg isn't an issue for owners who care only about performance but what is the mpg suppose to be like?

I usually see about 3-4 mpg less than pump gas.

I'd be interested to see the numbers after an AMS or ETS downpipe and cooler temps.

This is consistent with what I've seen so far. However I believe it could be more like 2-3 mpg less if you have some discipline with your right foot, but what would be the fun in that?

You could proably make some of that lost MPG back by increasing the cruise timing a bit, take a look here:

Well the first tank I went through I was about the same MPG as 93, last tank I was at like 14MPG, obviously I was boosting a bit more

So I am guessing somewhere in between 15-18MPG will be average depending on driving.
