I hope you change your rod bolts out or plan to, buddy of min made 430 on a fp red cam's fuel etc, and broke both of his rod bolts last week, put a rod right through the block...

I am not discrediting his numbers at all. I believe he made that power 100%, he even said himself that the dyno reads a stock X at damn near 260whp, that is where his "extra" power is coming from, the dyno just reads high, end of story. You can only compare his numbers to others that have been dynoed on that dyno.

As I said before his car on anyone else's dyno is not making any more power than anyone elses with similar mods.

I think you mis read because he said a stock dyno reads around 240-250.

Nope, he said 240's/250's and that means he isn't really sure, but it still gets the point across that it is much higher than a normal dyno. 10-15 or even 20hp might not seem like a lot but it is a pretty big percentage at those levels.

Even assuming 250, which is right in the middle of his comment, that is 6%ish higher than a typical dynojet.

I said originally 400whp on a dynojet was about max for the stock turbo and guess what, 6% on top of 400 is 424 basically right where he said he is.

This isn't rocket science people, the tiny stock turbo can only push so much air, it is going to limit almost all of us.

Maybe a little, lol. Really I am upset more at the fact they went to a smaller one than the Evo 9. Just imagine our cars with an evo 9 turbo, god that would be awesome. I probably wouldn't even need to upgrade mine yet.

I just find it funny how many people think they can get so much out of this thing, whilst completely ignoring the physics.

What is the big deal? Years ago in the dsm world people swore you would never see 400whp out of a 16g. Now people are getting more than that on a regular basis.

Correct me if I am wrong here
EIII 16g = 42lb/min
Stock Evo X turbo = 40lb/min

I have seen E3 powered cars in the 450+ range and the old 4g63 motors are not as efficient as the 4b11.

This isn't a thread about making power or not!!!!! It is simply a matter of the dyno being a high reading dyno. That is the only reason this is above 410whp!

I don't care if he made the power or not, this is essentially a CF ratio argument again. How hard is it to understand if something dynos the stock car 10-15% (example, not this case necessarily)higher than other dyno's that it will read higher later? This isn't rocket science people, the dyno reads high, he is making good power, but he isn't making as much as most people think he is...end of story.

It isn't a thread about a dyno reading high. It is a thread about a guy posting his dyno numbers on a Dynojet. Why do you care so much that his numbers are a little high? 240-250 seems reasonable for a Dynojet and over 400 is certainly possible. Everyone here is so clouded by reading other dyno charts.

If you feel that you have pushed the stock turbo further than anyone else in the country can and you know EXACTLY what the limits are and can predict what it should make within a couple percent, then good for you.
