751WHP! AMS/NOS TA-X gets ready for Buttonwillow

Edit: Video can be found on our home page HERE AT AMSperformance.com

As many of you know the last two races of the season are right around the corner for the AMS/NOS Energy Drink TA-X time attack car. Redline finals and The Super Lap Battle finals. This morning Chris and Martin threw TA-X on the dyno to dial her in for the upcomming events. The results was....well.....Record breaking! 751AWHP to be exact making TA-X the worlds highest HP EVO X! Not to shabby for a time attack car eh?

Soon I will have the Dyno chart posted along with a short video of the pass. Thankfully you will not get the same ear bleeding effect that most of us got this morning in person.

Tim and I will be leaving tomorrow for the cross country trip to Vegas for the SEMA show with TA-X sleeping anxiously in the rig. After the SEMA show Martin, Ivan, Paul Gerrard and Ryan Gates will be making the trip to Buttonwillow for the Super Lap battle finals on the 11th and then to Fontana on the 14th/15th for the Redline Time Attack finals. Go TEAM!

Who knows maybe the AMS/NOS Energy Drink TA-X can take away the fastest lap title from the almighty HKS Time Attack EVO... STAY TUNED today and don't take your eyes off of this thread

This is all done using the AMS EVO X 850R turbo kit and AMS engine program that has stood strong all season

Eric

Thank you guys! We are running a Motec ECU. The reason being is that at the time we built the car AEM did not have anything available. Once AEM Does have their EMS ready to go in a production capacity for the X we will be switching over to that

Wow!!! Great Job to Ams!!

Any chance of switching the rim/tire combo and going for the first X in the 9's?

Thank you everyone. I think what we find most impressive about this is that this isn't a drag car. This cars sole purpose is fast laps on a road course. The fact that it happens to be the worlds highest HP EVO X and is capable of a very fast 1/4 mile pass is just a bonus

I should quote this.. Youll go down as the 1st person to swap from Motec to AEM..
