Top Level Built / Fp Boosted X hits the rollers...

Had a blast with this combo, enough to merrit considering it for myself!!

Subject vehicle:

Evo X Gsr
Fp Red stock wg actuator
Cosworth Cams
Top Level Performance built motor with Manley Pistons and rods
Top Level Performance uicp
Aem Intake
Electric cut-out
Act clutch
Hallman Boost controller
E-Spec Tuned ecu
93 pump gas
27psi falling to 22

Monday night was a mission. After the 5 day turn-around on the build, we were ready to get hauling!!

"Master Dread" working his magic on the motor,,,

Quick Sponging!!

And strap-up....

439hp

At this power level/ weight, this car should dip right into the 11's in the high teens.

Now we know for sure the limit of the STOCK FUEL PUMP. There just wasn't enough gusto to safely continue to make power. A fuel pump was added yesterday, and along with a few other mods coming shortly, this evo X shold be putting down enough to haul the portly X into the 10's!!!

ditch that hallman bc, install new electronic bc , swap the wg actuator to the 25psi ones and crank that boost up to 35 psi, that hallman bc wont make 35psi of boost, this X will be a monster. Congrats brother

oh my bad, with 93 pump, 35psi is impossible. I would tuned this monster in c16 or e85 and 35psi.

This combo will make close to 500hp on pump. I agree on the actuator (22-21psi @ 7500 ) but the hallman will suffice.

600+ on 'go juice'.

Was this drop-in rods & pistons or a full build? I'm wondering if people do drop-ins on these motors (assuming low mileage).

Nice results, sweet build, looks fun

500whp on pump would be insane, haven't seen the red hit 500whp even on full out e85 one yet.

Fuel pump, fp red, actuator, 1000cc's, intercooler and intake pipe and you will be there on a stock block. I would like you to do the drop-ins all in one shot, it will make the cost of labor ALOT cheaper.

We would have smashed 500 with this combo, but we were out of fuel and boost dropped like "panties on prom night".

Did you all do something different to the red? My buddy had his red maxed out, he was on meth as well, and I didnt see anything where you had meth. I think he put out 479 ish. The manufactures were amazed it got that much. They called them because of some hick-ups they were getting from the red, but the ratings for the red I believe were like 420HP. He was tuned at 29PSI, I might be wrong as well. Just trying to get more info as well. Im happy to see shops getting into the game and documenting their success. I know I will be happy with 400WHP and watching and seeing what you guys do, pro and cons of it all will help me in the end.

I hope you guys get the 600 your looking for!
