CBRD BB-X - Evo 10 MR - Kelford cams - 91 oct
Had a customer come in the other day to do his next round of mods on his 2008 Evo 10 MR.
Great mod path on this one lead to some great power
2008 Evo 10 MR SST
CBRD BB-X turbo
Kelford 214-B 270/262 cams
Speciality X catback (dual pipe)
Resonated test pipe
Divorced WG 02 housing
AEM intake
AMS FMIC
AMS hotside IC pipes
Injector Dynamic 1000cc injectors
BlackOps single fuel pump upgrade
GST 3 port boost solenoid
GST Custom dyno tune using EcuFlash
91 octane
391 whp / 322 wtq
25psi straight across.
The CBRD BB-X turbo is proving to be a great upgrade. The Kelford 214-B cams really wake the Evo 10 with upgraded turbos up and the best part is they barely lope at all. It's actually hard to tell the car has cams at all.
Great power for 91 oct on our dyno from a 100% stock appearing turbo.
Here is an overlay with stock turbo/stock cams on 91 octane, huge gains!

Saw this car @ GST earlier on the lift (dropped in to say hi to Mike and the rest of the crew) great to see another RR EVO X MR pushing it! Gawd this makes we wonder what my MR will do with these cams! Wonder how much or if the Exhaust Manifold would help get that extra 9-10whp to get to 400whp? Im sure my TQ might take a small drop, but do you think I could hit 400whp if I toss in the cams, or are you seeing slippage from the clutchpacks @ the 390+whp and adjustment of the TQ Tables becomes hard to maintain that much WHP?
Very interesting Bryan.
Great Job, Like usual.

We had HB speed test our tubular manifold... and they picked up around 36whp on an fp red at 28psi with barely a measurable loss in spool up...
I am trying to get one to bryan to test so he can give his feedback also!
cheers
