Nice work by HB/COBB. They are already off to a great start!

Ninja edit: Maybe a FP Red makes more sense for CA 91?

Nice....with your mods, when did it start to spool without brake-boosting? And where did it hit at full boost?

This doesnt seem to be much better than a red about the same power with slower spool. What am i missing? Im thinking the gap is not as great as i thought it would be about 15 hp? I guess it has alot of room up top for more power down the road. Im not sure how these dynos read so i guess it could be a greater gap than i think.

test pipe, down pipe, and a built block will definitely get you at the 500 mark, but that 91 "pisstane" isnt helping at all

scheides swapped the dp on his BBX (on 93oct) for the new MAP dp and was surprised to gain 25whp in VDR. o2/dp + tp could add 40whp. OP lives in Cali so I know exhaust changes can be a pain/fine for them.

the reds you were looking at were probably running 93oct. the last fp red dyno i saw on hbspeed iirc was just above 400.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the broham is missing:
down pipe
test pipe
built head, i.e. valves, springs, retainers, bigger cams ect...
bigger injectors
dual fuel pump & dual pump kit
Built bottom end of course if going over 500whp plus
and of course 93 octane

Sooo... Yeah... He's right about good on whp with the mods he currently has, and the octane he's running.

Yes! with downpipe, test pipe, manifold, stage 2 cams, and some better octane 500whp should not be a problem! I can see this easily making 550+on E85 with right fuel mods.

Also to clear it up HBSpeed is in not a part of CObb tuning.
HBSpeed is officially closed down for business and Cobb hired some of the employees including "Jon" the tuner/owner of HBSpeed
