Ramon's EVO X MR tuned at AWD Motorsports!

Ramon previously brought his brand new 2010 Evo X MR to get tuned with a very limited mod list. With an Intake, Catback exhaust, Fmic and mbc @ 25 psi, the car put down 305hp with 305tq.

After adding a testpipe to eliminate the catalytic converter, Ramon brought the car back for a touch up retune. The results were as follows;

Blue = With cat
Red = W/O cat

Thumbs up MR Tunning

Thanks Derek and AWD one more time, the difference is huge
Without the cat; and to correct the MOD. The car still has the stock intercooler.

Wow those are some great numbers. I knew the stock cat was restrictive, but not 28 whp and 20 wtq restrictive lol. So just to clarify this car only has a mbc, intake, testpipe and catback exhaust? Is that correct? What exhaust and intake are being used?

Btw that's a nice power curve, sick tune!

Yes that is what the car have, in fact ist was running with Stock bov and I guess some boost liking is around There, but today a change to the (Works) diverter valve and the boost goes up, the car feel stronger because the boost is more consistence, now I have to cheek on the dyno to confirm that.

That is correct.. we did the same on another car with more mods.. removed cat ONLY back to back +35whp..

I just removed a silencer from the exhaust of a car and picked up 50whp..
