I think the EF2x is as close to stock spool as you can get, with a flat boost curve after 6500rpm unlike stock. The BBX lite seems more aggressive and would make more peak HP but everything I see says it spools 300-500 rpm later than stock. The EF2x is more like 150rpm.

I'll post my numbers after the install. I'm looking to see stock boost curve with no falloff, fingers crossed.

Ball bearing Greens are hovering, but no one has any numbers yet.

They're all solid choices, no doubt about that, but that said I'm glad I have what I have

Keep us updated on you car if you will. Over the winter months I'm going to be collecting as much data as possible on this turbo and the BBX-Lite, but am starting to lean towards the EF2. My main concern is reliabilty above everything else, because I do not want to have to buy a built motor, nor replace a turbo after 30k miles.

With that being said, keep us updated on how your stock clutch is taking to this power level, and your impressions on the power, and how the car is doing so far.

Thanks Kracka!

Also do you have reasoning behind choosing the ID1000s? $450 doesn't seem to bad for them...

So far so good, I think I have almost 3k miles on the turbo already. The stock clutch is still holding up fine. The car really is running perfectly. I couldn't ask for anything more; I'm thrilled with the setup. I'll definitely keep updating as I put more miles on the turbo.

ID1000's just seem like very quality injectors, their starting and idle quality is perfect, plus they'll provide enough headroom to support E85 should I chose to ever venture down that path.

ID1k's will provide enough fuel for only approx 400whp on a proper mustang dyno, on E85.

They are great injectors though.

FIC 1100cc's will do around 430-450whp on same proper mustang dyno, with a double pumper, or I assume, a Wally 400.

That is exactly why I have FIC 1100s with Walbro 400 pump. Started having somewhat of hard starts after the FIC 1100s and today I got stranded at a walmart parking lot as the car just would not start... Gonna call up cobb and see if I can get my tune tweaked a little bit.

After Kracka, I will be going with the EF2 as well. Since the FP green pure overkill for what it is... It is a bit absurd that its 2500... then coat then housing then this we are looking at a 3k turbo... No thanks. Ef2 with housing and coat is less than 2k...

The new ball bearing FP's are all like $2,500 lol. Not sure if you can get the journal bearing versions anymore.

Yep... Also they're now ball bearing for longer life span, which is reason for the increase in $,$$$.

Kracka, sweet numbers bro by the way. I'd like to see this turbo on a fully built 4b11t on 93pump or e85.

ef2 > new fp green. Spool rate is still a little better than bb green (which is sad for FP), also i heard that there are only 40, yep 40 FP greens BB made for sale in the US... I believe that is just for now due to FP recovering from the hurricane and what not in Japan. 2500 is way too much for what it is, then the housing and coating very close to 3k, not worth it. I love what the ef2 puts down and cant wait to rock mine on
