Rod went trough the block cars back at tuner for forged internals and new block..

Same thing happened to me after my got my red intalled there. Low throttle bucking and pow rod through block. Good luck with the build get head studs.

Did you have your tune done there as well or just the install?

How is everything now with the built motor did you run into any problems at all?
Yeah it was really ****ty when it happened deff was not expecting it at all..


Edit: Also how many miles did you have when this happened to you nate?

And yes the car is back with IveyTune for building the motor and a retune.

Thats too bad guys. I realize that its hard to say what the root cause of the failures were- but do you feel it was just the stock block throwin' in the towel or a tune related issue?

460whp-360tq isnt even that high on the stock motor for it to throw the towel...

Depends if he was beating on it alot.

That's what I thought. When you modify your car stuff like this can happen. At least now with a built motor you'll be good

I only put 200 miles since I got it back from cams clutch arp head studs valve springs/retainers etc. I didn't wanna **** up the new clutch I did a couple pulls took off the Megan racing exhaust manifold and switched back to stock b.c Megan racing is crap IMO but yeah I havent even gotten the chance to enjoy the car much
