English wouldnt do anything that is not safe. My MR seems to be just fine no knock or anything i usually run a couple of gallons of 101 unleaded in the car for safety measures anyways

The boost spike was very very temporary and it was at 4600. There were some issues with the MAP sensor that day anyway so I wouldnt put too much faith in the 32 as it showed 30 from the car's 3 bar. 29psi and 92 is easy knock free in the X. I have been very systematic in how we tune them. I wouldnt leave it this way for a road race day but for "drag" racing and on ramps its fine.

I agree, I ran close to 30 psi on over 30 runs on my mr and we tuned for knock, timing etc and never had any issues. I think as long as it's a drag tune you'll be fine, I don't tend to drive my car like I stole it every day. However I did find that, on my car at least, that 28psi was the sweet spot. Nice numbers and gl with it.

How well does the OE clutch hold up to that? I'm tempted to up boost when I tune, but I'm skeptic cause I don't want to start replacing clutch and such just yet.
