thats great result! couple of us guys just got these turbo's recently. i'm waiting on cams/springs atm and just about to pull the trigger on the AFI mani.

this is on a stock bottom end right?

have you got any VD graphs (dynojet) at all?

Looks like solid gains. But it does spool very late even for BB. I mean a Red/Black can produce these numbers and spool much quicker from what I seen and what I tuned. But great gains none the less. I would just like the spool a bit earlier. Otherwise the power is right on par.

well we can't see his mivec/wgdc maps so we don't know how this turbo could spool on this setup and there is too little info atm regarding it as opposed to red/black. there is a little (tiny bit) more info on evoxforums regarding this turbo and as shown it can spool 29psi by 3750rpm but again thats not knowing how aggressive those mivec maps are either.

maybe you can get it spooling faster like you did the red in your recent thread however judging by what this turbo is rated at its more like a black than a red anyway and 29psi @ 3750 ain't at all bad for this wheel!

i have an 8 with a black and all supporting mods and so far i feel the gtx on the heavier X without cams or ported mani is a much better turbo than the black on 93.

its all relative though on what you want to achieve right? if you're curious to see what you can get out of the gtx compared to red/black let me know.

Exactly, we do not know what his MIVEC, Timing, etc... are at all. I agree it probably can spool earlier than this. However there just needs to be more data from more people to get a overall picture. FP has been well proven over the years.

This turbo can probably spool a touch quicker than represented here.

Who got 29 psi @ 3750?

Maybe on a GTX 3071, not a 3076 though...

yep looking back richards was on 71 and adam on 76.

can't see what richard managed on 76 because it doesn't show boost.

Keep in mind the car is either in Colorado or Utah meaning at a high altitude. That will cause a car to spool up later as compared to sea level.
