Once he gives us the okay to build this motor we can really see what this turbo has. There seems to be plenty more left in it!

From what I have seen on my setup (Im at about 570whp) I think this turbo has 610 or so in it, maybe if you have a really strong setup 620ish, dynojet numbers of course.

It's a great stock frame but still suffers from the inherit Evo X small hotside design.

All we can do is test and tune then test again, right? I am sure 500hp is PLENTY for a lot of the X owners.

The EF4 definitely has 500+ on pump in it, the EF3 hits 500+ on E85 without breaking a sweat.

Oh wow I missed the stock block part, I just seen it now lol.. Really nice numbers for stock block. Yea those OEM rods are so tiny compared to the ones in my built motor. You cant really go wrong with replacing rods and pistons.

Will you need to run a double pumper on 93oct? Looking to run Walbro fuel pump with DW 1300cc once I add this turbo and build my block, which is also going to be bored out to a 2.2 displacement

Well, 4-1300cc injectors would require 312LPH to flow at their maximum potential. For pump gas, your walbro might JUST squeak by on pump gas but a DW300 fuel pump may give a little more headroom. Ideally, I suggest a double pumper and never look back.

For the average pump gas vehicle, 1000cc injectors should suffice.

can you overlay a stock turbo bolt-on X on the virtual dyno just for sh*ts and giggles? I can send you one of my logs if you want

Well if I stay with the double pumper I might as well go e85 as well! Especially since the gas station down the block sell e85, will I need larger injectors?

You need 40% more injectors with e85 so it depends what power you plan to make. Its never a bad thing to over kill the fuel system

Sometimes it is, lol. With the X I have seen many built motor cars sit or be gimp for a long time because of failed fuel systems. So my advice is chose wisely on your fuel system.

That being said its always fuel pump and fuel pump pick up issues not the injectors. So go buck wild on injectors if you have the dough just don't go 2000/2200 if you want to ever run pump gas with a "perfect" tune.

Yes the 2000cc wouldn't be the best option for pump gas right now. Someone needs to make the 1600cc injector work for us asap!

My DW1300cc's work fine and would work fine for most any pump gas car.
