I agree I don't think the other cover will do much but it might make the change worth while. It seems the EF2 wheels are a better match and the results above could easily be different temp/weather changes.

So this just appears that the EF2.5 added lag without any payoff.
Doesn't bode well for the new MHI turbo either...

So tough to tell now a days, so many damn stock frame turbos out there, almost too many lol.

I found the "best" one in my opinion, I'll take ~650whp on stock frame and call it a day

Buy a new MHI one and throw it on your setup, better than stock spool with 500whp

The wheel specs for the new MHI turbo and the EF2.5 Kracka tested are nearly identical...

Well I did some some results from the MHI turbo on lancerregistry and it looked pretty solid but its different dyno different car so who knows.

Not impressed with the results as is many people. However perhaps the EF2.5 responds better to less restrictive engine combinations. Stock cam's, and stock exhaust manifold aren't exactly what I would call free-flowing for a 60 lb/min compressor wheel. I will keep an open mind on the 2.5 until I see more results from other cars.

thats kind of where im at, i dont want to install it to find that the other cover has better spool, which is still important to me.
