EvoX stock turbo, bolt-ons, meth inj

Hello from Canada: I am in Vancouver, BC, and currently drive an octane blue, 2008, evo X, gsr. It's in the shop getting a new turbo and
other assorted goodies...
Anyway I had not seen any Xs with any efr turbo yet so I thought there might be some interest in the install and results.

The shop and basic info are listed below and I think RG racing is posting stuff are on their facebook page (whatever that is...?)
I will (try and) post pics and updates as well.
We are trying to stage the install and dyno tune between steps to see if we can quantify the contribution of each piece and then tuning, then off to the track.....

RG Racing: Results
MustangDyno, sea-level, Vancouver, BC, Canada
Stock no-tune: ~208-210 whp
Stock + tune: 240 whp, 230 wtq
Bolt-ons* + tune: 270 whp, 250 wtq
Bolt-ons* + 100% meth+ tune: 310 whp, 300 wtq
Redline: ~7500rpm
Note: the car dyno'd almost identical numbers on English Racing's dyno (using 13% as the correction factor)

Perrin turbo intake pipe
ETS , 2.5" hard pipes (U/L), 3.5" FMIC
Stock turbo
Full 3" SS TBE: CP-e: 3", cast, SS, bellmouth, downpipe, cat-delete.
Grimmspeed 3-port Ebc
Prosport wideband and boost gauges
Aquamist hfs-4 meth injection
Howerton engineering 2gal baffled twin tank
TMW short shifter, metal cage, bushings
Giro disc two piece front rotors, single rears
Ferrodo 2500 pads, Rb600, giro SS lines
Enkie rpf1, 18x10.5 (15mm offset), Dunlop direzza 275/35
Stock rims/snow tires
Rolled fenders
Competition clutch stage2
Sabelt 4-point harness (removable, for drag strip/track days)
Cobb AP



installation underway:
BW efr 7670, 0.92 T4 ts
Full-Race T4, twinscroll tubular mani

Gsc S2s with beehive springs
ID 1000cc injectors
Radium engineering, wally 400, surgetank
Likely need some downpipe fabrication
And either 3.5" or 4" intake



hopefully by this winter/spring:
oil temp gauge ?+/- oil pressure?

AEM fail safe wide and/boost gauge
If I replace my current wideband with this combo gauge I free
up a space for my meth flow meter in the primary gauge cluster

AMR coilovers, front brace
Whiteline front rck
Switch to Speed density tuning?


By this time next year:
2.3-2.5L, built bottom
Stronger clutch, tranny??
Weight reduction

is that the single exit cep or dual? i like the dual but i was wondering on the single.

Its the dual
there are some clips of it on youtube that give you an idea of its sound , it has a lower exhaust note esp at low rpm, i.e. it sets off cars alarms at idle

How much boost are you running with the stock turbo?

Hi Im running 23-25, with peak boost at 28 psi I think, that is with 100% meth injection (single lrg AEM nozzle)
sorry the dyno sheet is so hard to read (and upside down) but the bottom traces show boost pressures

Damn sounds good. Does it hang the exhaust hang to low. I've always liked that exhaust.
