Boost: 25psi
Peak HP at RPM: 420 whp @ 7600 RPM's
Peak Torque at RPM: 335 ft.lbs @ 4950 RPM's
Fuel: 93pump gas
Tuning by Motion Lab Tuning

According to the tuner, it was done on purpose to prolong the life of the stock rods at the power level I'm at. Apparently these motors, in stock form, don't like a large/quick hit of TQ or boost at lower RPM's. Plus I still have 3000 rpms of powerband which is plenty for me on the street and since I'm SST, boost is never lost between shifts.

Not at all. If you were slipping at that power level then it definitely wasn't accomodated for in the tune. There's many SST tables that need to be adjusted in the tune to providing more clamping pressure to the clutches.
