2012 GSR EFR 8374 Stock Block dyno
One of the locals also fell in love with my 5858 setup and offered my $$$ right on the spot. I really didn't need or want to sell it but I was also starting to get really curious about the EFR turbos....so I gave in and sold him the 5858 turbo kit, injectors, DV valve, etc., and I ordered a Full Race EFR 8374 .92AR IWG turbo kit.
Today I went to the dyno to see what I could muster out of the new setup, here's a mod list:
Full Race T4 twin scroll turbo kit with EFR 8374 .92AR and the "High Boost" internal wastegate.
Full Race 3.5" intake.
Full Race IC piping.
ID 1300cc injectors.
AMS TMP cams with Kelford Springs.
AMS fuel rail.
AMS Intercooler.
Custom FPR setup.
GS BCS.
Akrapovic DP back TI exhaust.
Walbro 450 fuel pump (still on the stock wiring)
Kosmic catch can.
E73 fuel from my local pump.
Some of the run details are:
97.22* F in the dyno room
29.56 in-Hg
IDC 100.2%
~27 PSI
3rd gear run
This is the 5858 kit with AMS cams vs the EFR 8374 kit dyno plot above.
I have to point out that I did not add or subtract ANY timing, I adjusted AFR to were it was before and I LOWERD MIVEC overlap in the spool-up area and boost is almost the same going from one kit to the next:
Now, the dyno really doesn't tell the whole story. Even though it clearly makes more power EVERYWERE, the EFR just feels much more alive and responsive. It feels like the car has a stroker motor, it makes that big of a difference down low in the RPM range and comes on boost very fast. I believe the turbo has a lot still left and it's just getting started.

I guess it really depends how hard you beat the car on a regular basis. I had this setup on the stock motor for about 3k miles and then installed a build motor. My stock short block came out in good shape and is still sitting in my garage on a engine stand.

You mean everywhere after 5krpm, but clearly not before.
