New to the forum
Hello,
This is my first post to the forum. In a nutshell; bought my EVO last summer, been putting some goodies on here and there and finally got a chance to take her down to Surgeline for a dynotune. The whole experience was great and I have nothing but great things to say about the guys down there. She is a 2013 GSR and still running stock block. Just thought I would post my results!
Perrin cat-back
Cobb DP
Cobb Test pipe
Cobb BPV
Cobb BCS
Cobb Intake
AMS FMIC
Cobb Hard pipe kit
Cobb Silicone inlet
Cobb accessport
The dyno was done on 92 octane pump gas and 26 psi.
320awhp and 330 awtorque

For sure! Now I gotta decide which route I want to take from here. Correct me if I am wrong but I can go bigger turbo/supporting mods but I want to keep the torque below 400 on the stock bottom end? I already have the AMS FMIC so I think I would be able to drop in a fuel pump, bigger injectors and bigger turbo, and with another tune I could be sitting pretty. I need to decide now if I eventually want to build the block and that will determine everything I do from here out. Surgeline said that they have seen good results from the AMS stage 1 blocks. And turbo-wise, if I decide I will not build the block, I am thinking I will go EF2. If I build the block I will probably do EF3 or bigger after I do some more research.

Yeah that first tune is great! I have basic bolt ons and am running a JB FPgreen. I dd my Evo and this turbo is great for my needs! I made 418/384 on a mustang dyno. Honestly it is damn near perfect amount of power. Congrats & good luck!

Just out of curiosity, what made you go FP over MAP? It seems like similar characteristics but the FPs are more expensive. Is the spool a lot better on the FPs? Those are great numbers though! Those are exactly what I am looking for on the stock block!

I went with FP because I have had a few of there turbos on my older DSM and always had a good experience with them. My tuner was shocked at high much this was pulling near redline. He suggested some cams, retainers, springs ect so I could get into a higher redline....
Sorry should have specified. 93 Pump & no cams. Stock block/head.
Pretty basic,
JB FPgreen
MAP short runner mani
FIC 1100
Wal 255 FP
Depo 3.5 Intercooler
Depo UICP
ETS intake
3 custom exhaust. Catless, with 2 vibrant resonators.
At 47,xxx miles the stock clutch started slipping in high gears. I was running the above setup for about 8-9,xxx. I just put in a CC stg 3 with MAP cmc kit & love it so far.
