Someone needs to hack the hell out of the MMCS and write some kind of open source program that will incorporate the NAV and other sweet *** functions like displaying vital engine information, knock, boost, etc.. kind of like a datalogger, but it could display gauges and incorporate other cool programs that I can't even think about right now !

Hmm. I was wondering if anyone that's patched their 08 Lancer GTS successfully could send me their cd? Because I've tried countless times and used countless programs to burn the iso but none of the times it works. So if you are willing to send me your cd please send me a message. Thanks.

Seems the interest in this has died down.
Do you think we will have a patch for the 30.97 version for the MRs?

Pull your hard drive and post the image. Then you'll have one...

I read the post on how to do it and it sounded too technical for my level of computer/hard drive knowledge. I am hoping someone more adept (and hopefully closer distance wise) than me will do so.

The adapters are about $6 at most major online retailers. I've got a Fry's around so I just bought mine there.

I did have to go buy a mini torx set ($8) to get the HD out. I didn't have one that small.

i just installed the nav and i have a question about the dvd in motion, not the patch.

i started the car and the dvd played,i put it in 1st gear and moved forward and it was still playing. i put it in reverse and it was still playing.

question is when does the system know you are moving and when does it just do audio playback for the dvd? is it immediate or takes a minute or two before it shuts down?
