Speaker wire color- Doors, help needed ASAP, please!

Right door panel is off. I have green and yellow wires going into the woofer and tweeter. Which is positive and which is negative?

Thanks in advance!

Hope this isn't a dumb question, but is this the same for 2010 GSR's? It looks like I have blue and yellow speaker wires. Yellow is positive and blue is negative?

hahaha this makes me laugh. i should tell this to my trainee installer. hey if you're doing all 4 speakers generally you can just look at the harness shape, and choose the same wire for positive each time. although right here in front of me i do have an M1 diagram from my work so here you go:

@ each speaker they will all be the same: yel-positive/grn-negative

@ the deck (assuming you don't have the RF system)

LF: yel/blu (+) , gry/red (-)
RF: yel/grn (+) , red/blu (-)
LR: yel/gry (+) , wht/blu (-)
RR: wht/grn (+) , gry/blu (-)

the colors change at the harness in the kick panels / B pillars as they enter in the cabin of the vehicle. anyways that should be enough for people now that I keep getting PMed for being an installer.

I need to pull my deck out again but I'm pretty sure I don't have wiring that matches your color codes to the deck.

depends on if you have the RF system or not.

That's actually backwards... Inside the doors Light Green (LG) is positive, Yellow (is negative). At the point where the wiring moves out of the rubber grommets into the cabine.. the color codes flip and yellow with a stripe becomes positive while gray with the same color stripe as yellow becomes negative.

For example...

Standard Radio (no AMP)
Rear:
Driver Rear Inside Door: LG+ Y-
Drivers Rear Inside Cabin: Y-L (yellow w blue stripe)+, GR-B (gray w blue stripe)+
