MZ607411EX iPod Adapter will not work with an X with NAV

Sorry if this is old news...
The parts dept said that is would work but after pulling the radio out there is no compatible din connector. Not sure about the non-nav. Anyway hope this saves someone some time..

Used to think this but apparently if you don't have the SSS package (Fosgate System) then there is no auxiliary input.

is there any adapter that lets you scroll thru iPod songs using the display on the stock head unit?

Or am I dreaming?

In order to have this functionality, it would have to be programmed into the stock head unit. if they spent time making this functionality, I think they would include the $1 wire to connect the ipod.
(no you can't)

Yes I know about the stereo input under the dash but was looking to see if it was possible to integrate and get feedback on the nav screen. Why this is currently not possible is beyond me. Heck today a Ford Focus has iPod integration ability!

I completely agree.

If Mitsu "softened" and lux'd up the Evo to appeal to a different market (ie BMW buyers, etc) they certainly left out a few things.

Where's the simple iPod integration and Bluetooth? Pretty basic stuff but you can't get it on an EVO X GSR-- hello !! These minor things are why I'm still considering the 135i, even though I want the X !
