negativefx, I have an EvoXMR and I agree, the 650W RF stereo is underwhelming, at best.

I listen to it at around 20 and it's hard to talk at that level. Strange? I'd go to the dealer and check out another one. In fact when I was shopping for my Evo, I pulled up to the dealership and they used one car as their parking lot music system. I could hear it from across the parking lot.

Ok then somethign is wrong, because mine is not that loud, at max volume is not loud. Sometimes it is, sometimes it aint. And the auto speed volume thing does not work at all. Also the turn signal lane just tap it thing is on, but it does not work. I think my head is busted.

yeah i have an SSS and just added navi. the aux for my iphone doesn't seem as loud as it did pre-navi. nonetheless, i haven't played around with bass or anything yet. also, i always get that annoying hum noise when the music isn't playing or the iphone isn't plugged in.

I was having the "sounds good for 4 seconds" problem with my non-navi SSS. Disabled the speed sensitive volume control and is now much louder and better sounding...

Push the right knob a few times until you get to a menu where you can torn "SVC off". The manual has a description of it in the radio section
