i need speaker depth..... can anyone help

im going to install some aftermarket speakers on my mr. does anyone know wat is the max speaker depth i can install. i found some nice mb quarts components. with a speaker depth of 2 1/2 or 64mm. would these work?.... there 6 1/2.

Depends on what Quart's you have. I've got the 6.5" Q series and needed two 1/4" spacers + the plastic spacer that Crutchfield sells.

In-dash stereo
10 17/32" depth; Size code DD,E
Front speakers
Front Door: 6-1/2" factory speaker note
Rear speakers
Rear Door: 6-1/2" factory speaker note

If you are going to use some good speakers, don't waste your time with the plastic spacers as they add some distortion to the setup. Just make some MDF spacers.
