Crutchfield In-dash Receiver Kit?
Has anybody bought a radio from Crutchfield.com and installed the free In-dash receiver kit? I'd like to know if its a good fit or not.

i'm a master certified installer and i'll tell you to go with scosche for this car right away. metra has warped kits for the new generation lancers. also scosche uses iso mounting with the factory brackets rather than metra with their ****ty plastic iso mounts. i can show you pictures if you want

Scosche kit installed...

I've just ordered the same set-up for my X this weekend...Kenwood DNX-6140 and the Scosche Kit. Plus I'm adding about 20 pounds of Hushmat Ultra to the floors and front-doors to quiet the highway noise.
