best headunit/navi for evo x???

I have an alpine w505 and Im pretty sure it fried my power supply in the head unit. Still troubleshooting though

I have a kenwood excelon 9960 on my truck and love it. For me, navigation was a big priority and after playing around with some of the other brands, I liked the Garmin on the Kenwood the best.

I'd probably say this is the best one on the market right now. It may not have as an insanely fast bootup time as the avic Z series, but it does have garmin navigation, parrot BT, better EQ and audio control. It's the new version of MIGS' DNX 9140, which I coincidentally also have

If you plan on getting a steering wheel control module, I suggest going with the newly-released Metra AXXESS ASWC. Auto-programs (although you can manually do whatever you like), no lag when pressing buttons at all (swips/swijacks have insane lag sometimes), and it's half the price.
