stock BT mic with aftermarket headunit
hey,
so i am going to install my Pioneer X920BT unit this weekend and i think that i got everything covered except for one thing. I have a 2010 with the SSS package and i already have the MITO-02 harness and the axxess steering wheel module. the only thing that i am unsure about is what to do with the BT mic. i would LOVE to use the mic that came with the car with the new pioneer headunit so i don't have to run a wire throughout the entire car plus i think that the stock mic is really good. is there any way to do that?
oh and another question: for those that did install a new BT head unit, how did you run the new mic all the way to the ceiling where the OEM mic is located?

since i already installed my new headunit, i might as well answer my own question. i couldn't find a way to reuse the OEM mic with the new headunit but running the new mic to the same oem location is a breeze (just run the wire behind the glovebox and then up the pillar).
