don't feel bad about not getting the BT since the Pioneer BT is worthless anyway. honestly, i wish they just removed it since it doesn't work anyway.

I am thinking about getting the pioneer P2300 for my 11' EVO X. Pioneer says that it doesn't meet my factory measurements and that modifications are required. What kind of modifications did you have to do to your car/receiver to get it to fit, if any?

there are no modifications to install the pioneer p2300, 3300 and 4300 or any pioneer double din. I had these as well and i used the Scosche dash kit with the pioneer 3200. It worked great!

its a simple swap! and btw I tested out the MotionX at best buy and the sales rep was SO ecstatic!! now he demo's the pioneers with the iphones! pretty cool

the fitment looks bang on. i have the kenwood dnx6020 waiting to be installed i cant wait. stupid customs should have better things to hold on to then a evo dash kit. lol

Yeah my scosche took awhile from eBay as well. Let's hope all is well.

Btw DO NOT BUY THE PIONEER CABLES FROM EBAY. They are all cheap Chinese made crap that will not work properly.

Buy your pioneer wire from crutchfield. Or best buy

I have a stock radio for Evo X and if I buy the AVH-P4300 and the Scosche kit, would it be ok to install or I need to buy a steel Nav support ( or racking ) ?

With the schosche kit, did you get additional wiring for the pioneer unit from the ebay deal or did you have to buy it somewhere else?

I'll be buying the dash kit and a pioneer unit so I'll need to get the wiring harness from somewhere
Oh and I guess I need the tv bracket too

the scosche kit i purchased on ebay came with the harness as well.

You don't need an extra bracket for your TV (i think you mean your pioneer double din). You can use your brackets that were used for your stock radio

Did you have the stock crappy stereo or did you at least have the RF navi?

Just want to be clear because I have the stock stereo so no need for the tv brackets when I get my pioneer double din?
If I can use stock then great, saves money.

im ordering this setup in a few weeks.
For the guys with the RF you will need a few extra harnesses to enable the steering wheel controls, and the amp, sub, and tweeters.
Crutchfield has all the info!
Looks Awesome!
