You really wouldn't be able to do it with a Mac since they don't have hibernate built-in and a car powersupply like that wouldn't easily hook up to a mac mini.

Though if you find a way around the power supply, you can either use the command: sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 1

or use this widget:

Anyway, nice job on the PC.. what model is the tiny keyboard you found??
Sorry for the late reply.
It's a Rii Mini. I bought it off amazon for like $21

So I decided to add my subs which gained me like 50 extra pounds... but anyway I used to have them connected on a line out converter from the rears, now I just connected them to the center/SW port of my sound card and they hit way harder than before.

Only problem I have now is my SW RCA to 3.5 is a little short and if the box slides in a curve..which it has done.. the rca gets pulled out.

I'm also going to rig up a cutoff switch for the ignition wire to the carputer and amp. I'm going to do this because I had an instance at a stop light where XP glitched on me and it sounded like I had a CD skipping, granted it only lasted 5 to 7 seconds but thats a long time with your windows down and people staring..

Pics added to the front page.

ive always wanted to do this except i was going to fabricate my screen where the passenger side airbag is in my evo8. your idea with the small wireless keyboard/touchpad is great though, i never thought about it.
Good Job overall!

Does centrafuse sync phone book, in and out calls via BT, allow dialing keypad on screen, and voice dialing? Sweet system btw!
